Wild things are coming
Today I'm feeling a bit nostalgic as I realize it's been three weeks since I embarked on this adventure of starting my own stationery and illustration business. It's been a time full of ups and downs, challenges, and also small victories that have kept me going.
I've been incredibly busy lately. Between uploading products to my online store on Shopify and Etsy, managing social media, and, of course, dedicating time to work on new products, I've barely had time to catch my breath. But you know what? I wouldn't trade this madness for anything in the world.
Currently, I'm immersed in creating a new product that has me very excited: I find myself here, in my little creative corner, painting some new cards for a very special product. They are cards designed to teach the alphabet through adorable animal drawings, each of them represented by the charming characters of my brand, Paimel, and wearing costumes! It's a task that fills me with joy and enthusiasm because I know these little details can make a big difference in the lives of many boys and girls.
To share a bit of this creative process with the world, I decided to record some videos while painting the cards on my iPad using the Procreate app. I want people to see the love and dedication I put into each of my creations, and I hope these videos help connect with those who are interested in my work. Today I'm going to edit one of them to upload it later to social media.
However, I must admit that it hasn't all been easy. Being a small business owner comes with its challenges, and I've had to learn to deal with the uncertainty and frustration that sometimes accompany the first steps in this business world. But every obstacle overcome makes me stronger and brings me one step closer to making my dream come true.
Although I haven't seen big results in terms of sales yet, I still maintain hope and excitement to see my business grow. I dream of the day when I can see my products in the hands of people from all over the world and how my small brand becomes a community of people passionate about the beauty and charm of handmade things.
Well, I think that's enough reflection for today. Tomorrow will be another day full of challenges and new opportunities to keep growing and learning. Thank you for being my confidant on this exciting journey.
